Working together on a group project can be a logistical nightmare, especially when members are scattered across the country, or the globe. Sending memos and emails back and forth is an inefficient way to share information. Even conference calls fall short. You can talk about the various problems and solutions, but you can’t see them. An application called “Remote Web Desk” simulates the above process. It can turn your desktop into a groupware conferencing tool. All group members can work on the same application at the same time. The project will have remote control, which allows them to view, and interact with one computer (“the viewer”) to another computer (“the server”) anywhere on the Internet. The project will allow a person at a remote computer to assume control of another computer across a network, as if they were sitting in front of the other computer.
