Hi, I am final Year B-Tech Student from Younus Engineering College. I have to finish my Accadamic Project Before March 2006. I have a Project Idea which is based on Distributed Load Sharing. My idea is: There is a Group of Systems in LAN. When a Job applied to a Single System(Server System) , It first Check the Process depth and make decision to split the process according to its Processing needs. But one thing make to sure that the Speed of Execution Must be less in distributed system than in a Single one. The Network Transaction should also be considered. I would like to do this for a Particular set of Operations.(viz Prime number Calculation, Sorting and image Processing). Then what should be the Risk Factors i need to face during this project? Is it Possible with Scheduling, Deadlock management etc. I need help in both technical and Logical Aspects. with Hope Ashwin Ramachandran Trivandrum.

  

hello Ashwin, nice to hear of a project as such. try to google on \"mobile agents\" on open services , which actually are processes that run on various systems inside a network. maybe u can find some help there, meanwhile i will try and find a few for u. Ganesh TeamV
