The cellular and peer-to-peer network model of the wireless data networks achieves significant performance improvement in terms of throughput, fairness and resilience to mobility. However the performance degrades due to the base station bottle-neck when the numbers of mobile nodes increase. The peer-to-peer network model was proposed to reduce the base station bottle-neck and thus to operates with the mobile nodes in a peer-to-peer network using the multihop path. Thus the peer-to-peer model demonstrated under relay traffic purely within one network domain and two different domain using the help of hosts that have Internet access through any of the available network interfaces that can be used to relay traffic from one interface to another, hence by serving as the destinations for flow in the network with bottleneck. Thus cellular network will be fail from the availability of these hosts due to peer-agonistic nature where the base station is the backbone network for all the mobile hosts in the network. Thus considering these factors the Multihomed peer relays allow effective communication of the wireless networks in peer-to-peer model using hybrid stations (Wireless – Wired Relay) and multimode mobile hosts (Wireless – Wireless relay) and thus remove the base station bottleneck in the cellular networks.
